American Society of Landscape Architects Scholarship
- A 3.0 GPA in all subjects; applicants must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in landscape design/landscape architecture.
- Must be enrolled in a landscape design/architectural degree or certificate program in Oklahoma which would include students from Oklahoma State University, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University–OKC and Langston University.
Other Requirements for Application:
Submission of a landscape project is required for this scholarship.
Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses; payments are made directly to the school.
In 2005, the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects established this permanent scholarship endowment fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to acknowledge good student works in the field of landscape design and landscape architecture and to help assist students with their college costs. In 2019, the OKASLA added to the endowment to honor Steve Owenby, the state’s first licensed landscape architect, with a $2,000 scholarship in his name.
