James M. Wilson Scholarship

NOTE: To apply for this scholarship, please complete all of the components of the (1) General Application and then (2) the High School Senior Student Application. Meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting all required components/fields on the High School Senior Student Application will automatically move an applicant into the James M. Wilson Scholarship applicant pool.


  • Graduating senior from Boswell High School in Boswell, Oklahoma.
  • A U.S. citizen.
  • Preference is given to applicant’s with a strong academic performance.

Financial need may be considered.

Funds may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution in the United States. If the scholarship recipient resides in college housing, the scholarship can include funding for room and board. Payments are made directly to the school.

The James M. Wilson Scholarships were first awarded in 1984 to honor Mr. Wilson’s years as an agricultural education teacher. The fund assets were transferred to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation in 2003.
