Patel Engineering Scholarship
NOTE: To apply for this scholarship, please complete all of the components of the (1) General Application and (2) the High School Senior Student Application. Meeting the eligibility criteria and submitting all required components/fields on the High School Senior Student Application will automatically move an applicant into the The Patel Engineering Scholarship applicant pool.
- Graduating senior from an Oklahoma high school.
- Student must have an unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 3.5.
- Applicants must plan to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering from one of the following universities: the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University or the University of Tulsa.
- Financial need is considered.
Funds may be used for educational related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University or the University of Tulsa. Payments are made directly to the school in the following academic year. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Patel Engineering Scholarship was established in 2012 as a planned gift by Dilip and Vibha Patel. The Patel Engineering Scholarship encourages worthy students to pursue higher academic attainment in the field of engineering. This is an endowed scholarship of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
