Jim Thomas/Bertha Teague Scholarship
- Applicants must be a graduating senior from a high school that participates in the “Central Oklahoma Guidance Counselor Network.” A complete list of schools in the network can be found on this website under “Definitions” and “Central Oklahoma Guidance Counselor Network”: https://www.occf.org/scholarshipfaq/
- Unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 OR an ACT score of 25 or greater.
- Applicants must be a high school athlete going on to participate in a collegiate sport and have no known or existing athletic scholarship offer.
- Preference will be given to one male and one female each year.
The Jim Thomas/Bertha Teague Scholarship is a one-time award. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Jim Thomas/Bertha Teague Scholarship Fund is an endowed fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The Jim Thomas/Bertha Teague Scholarship encourages graduating high school seniors involved in athletics from central Oklahoma area high schools participating in the Central Oklahoma Guidance Counselor Network pursue post-secondary education degree programs at an accredited college or university offering a two-year or a four-year curriculum.
