IBEW Local 444 Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Requirements of Application:
• Applicants must be union members or family members* of IBEW Local Union #444.


  • Member – Individuals in good standing 12 months prior to the application.
  • Family members include wives, husbands, children, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, step-sisters, step-brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, stepmothers, stepfathers, sisters-in-law, or step-grandchildren.
    *IBEW Local 444 members will verify all family relationships.

The award may be used for tuition, fees, books, equipment and/or supplies at a two-year, four-year, or vocational-technical institution. Payments are made directly to the student’s college after proof of enrollment has been provided to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

The IBEW Local 444 Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 to support members and family members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #444.

If selected as a recipient of the Electrical Workers Local 444 Scholarship, I agree to allow my name and photograph to be utilized in news releases and publicity materials in conjunction with the Electrical Workers Local 444 & the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Further, I understand that, if selected as a recipient, I may be expected to attend an event where the essay will be read and the scholarship will be formally presented.
