Classen '55 Scholars Fund


  • Graduating senior from Classen School of Advanced Studies at Northeast Academy’s fine arts program.
  • A high school GPA ≥ 3.0.
  • Requires a faculty nomination.

Financial need is considered.

Eligible recipients may attend any public or independent/private, regional or comprehensive, academically accredited institution in the United States (no for-profit institutions).

The award is $8,000 paid over four years, $2,000 per year, contingent upon full-time enrollment while maintaining a 3.0 collegiate GPA.

Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses; payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

This scholarship was established in 1997 by the Classen High School Class of ’55 to provide scholarships for graduates of the school.

  2. Please submit the name and email address of a faculty member of Classen School of Advanced Studies who has agreed to submit a letter of nomination on your behalf that addresses your talent and accomplishments in the Fine Arts program. Please make sure your reference received an email request from us.
  3. Did you submit your household's FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) for the coming year when you completed the General Application? (NOTE: If you answered "no,” please know that financial need may be considered for this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to return to the General Application and attach a FAFSA or a 1040 if you cannot complete the FAFSA.) If you cannot complete the FAFSA, please indicate your financial circumstances on your General Application under the particular circumstances question.
