Michael Neal Minter Sr. Scholarship


  • Applicants must be a graduating high school senior from one of the following high schools: Capitol Hill, Classen School of Advanced Studies at Northeast, Choctaw, Douglass, Star Spencer, Millwood and Mid-Del Public High Schools.
  • A GPA between 3.0 and 3.8.

In the event of a tie, financial need may be considered.

Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses at any not-for-profit two-year, four-year or vo-tech institution in the United States. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Michael Neal Minter Sr. Scholarship is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation that was established by family and friends of Michael Neal Minter Sr. to reward students who plan to continue their education after high school.

(NOTE: If you answered "no,” please know that financial need may be considered for this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to return to the General Application and attach a FAFSA or a 1040 if you cannot complete the FAFSA.) If you cannot complete the FAFSA, please indicate your financial circumstances on your General Application under the particular circumstances question.
