Oklahoma Association for the Education of Young Children Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Students seeking undergraduate or graduate degrees in the fields of early childhood education or child development/family studies.
- Must be employed in early childhood care/family services settings (to include family child care homes).
- Preference for individuals with five or more years of work experience in the field of early care and education.
Funds may be used at public and private non- profit institutions in Oklahoma, not to include career technology centers. The award goes towards tuition, fees and book expenses. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Oklahoma Association for the Education of Young Children Scholarship recognizes employees of early childhood education facilities who are selected through a nomination process. The Oklahoma Association for the Education of Young Children Scholarship is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
