Hutchinson Scholarship
The Hutch’s Scholars Award program awards scholarships to a current year graduating high school senior from western Oklahoma (Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Harper, Major, Roger Mills, Texas, Washita, Woods and Woodward counties) or southwestern Kansas (Seward county). Financial need is considered.
Eligibility:
- Graduating seniors of high schools in the authorized counties.
- A high school GPA ≥ 3.0.
Funds may be used for tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited two-year, four-year or vocational/technical nonprofit institution in the United States. Scholarship funds may be applied to the cost of room and board if the student resides in campus housing. Award payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
Reapplication:
The Hutch’s Scholars Award is a reapplication scholarship. Recipients must earn credit for all study that is supported with scholarship funding. Recipients must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or greater and receive no failing grades. Scholarship recipients may receive scholarship funds for a maximum of four academic years.
