Mary E. Watkins Scholarship

Please note: If you have submitted the General Application and meet the requirements below, you will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be graduating seniors from Bennington High School (Oklahoma).
• Unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 3.0.
• Must attend an accredited college or university in Oklahoma; preference for students attending Oklahoma State University, and/or for graduating high school females.
• Financial need will be considered.

The Mary E. Watkins Scholarship is a one-time award. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Mary E. Watkins Scholarship Fund was established as an endowed scholarship fund in 2016 by her son, US Congressman Wes Watkins. The Mary E. Watkins Scholarship encourages graduating seniors from Bennington High School, Bryan County, Oklahoma, to pursue post-secondary education degree programs at an accredited college or university in Oklahoma, offering a two-year or a four-year curriculum.
