Durant Community Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Graduating seniors of Durant High School.
- A GPA ≥ 3.25.
- Demonstrate a capacity for leadership by participation in extracurricular activities.
Preference may be given to an applicant with unmet financial need.
This is a one-time award. Recipients must attend an academically accredited public or independent institution (nonprofit) in the United States. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses; if the scholarship recipient resides in official college housing, scholarship funds can be used for room and board. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.
The Durant Community Scholarship Fund was established at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation in 2004 to honor and encourage students to continue their academic aspirations after high school graduation.
