Horace Stevenson Scholarship


  • Applicants must be graduating seniors from one of the following Oklahoma City public high schools: Douglass, Millwood, U.S. Grant, Capitol Hill, Southeast and Crooked Oak.
  • Unweighted GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.7.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to community service and leadership.

Financial need will be considered in the event of a tie.

The Horace Stevenson Scholarship is a one-time award. Funds may be used for tuition, fees and book expenses. Payments are made directly to the school. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Horace Stevenson Scholarship Fund was established as an endowed fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation in 2016. The Horace Stevenson Scholarship Fund encourages graduating seniors from six Oklahoma City public high schools to pursue post-secondary education degree programs at an accredited college or university offering a two-year or four-year curriculum.
