Dr. Edith King Mental Health Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Oklahoma resident.
  • Pursuing a graduate degree that will further a career in mental health services.
  • Preference will be given to applicants committed to working with juveniles or applicants pursuing degrees or certification at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Funds may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any academically accredited four-year nonprofit university in Oklahoma. Payments are made directly to the school.

The Dr. Edith King Scholarship Fund was established in 2002 to honor the lifetime commitment and leadership of Dr. King to the field of mental health services in central Oklahoma. This is an endowed scholarship fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
