Flavious Richardson Scholarship

*Please note: *If you have completed and submitted the General Application by the deadline and meet the requirements below, then you will be automatically considered for this scholarship.


  • Eligible applicants must be a graduating high school senior Hobart High School.
  • Applicants must have attended Hobart High School for two or more years.
  • Applicants need to be able to demonstrate a commitment to community service and the ability to work within a group or as a member of a team.

The Flavious Richardson Scholarship is a one-time award; recipients of this scholarship are invited to reapply and compete with the high school senior students. One recipient may not receive the award more than 4 times.

The scholarship award is for undergraduate studies. The award may be used for tuition, fees and books. Payments are made in two installments (fall and spring semester) each academic year directly to the student’s school after proof of enrollment has been provided to the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Payments are issued in the following academic year. No more than six credit hours may be completed online each semester.

The Flavious Richardson Scholarship was established in 2018 by Mr. Richardson’s former students from Hobart High School to honor him as an outstanding educator. This scholarship encourages graduating high school seniors from Hobart, OK to pursue a degree in higher education. This is an endowed fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
